If only it was easy to control who we fall in love with
Falling out of love would be so easy
Easy to get over that one person who hurts you the most
I guess that’s the whole package
Being strong is the only armour you've got
Although it’s going to hurt regardless
You’ve got to pick yourself up every now and then
Some simply just don’t get over it
And loving again isn’t always that easy
Putting yourself out there again could be scary
Opening your heart again could unleash some bitter past
There’s only so much of your heart you can protect
And hope that you find love again
For love is real.
